Westside and Hypertrophy.

Hello. Im currently doing a Westside routine. We all know that a bigger muscle has a bigger chance to become big than a smaller muscle. What do you think best for hypertrophy, stoping the Westside and do a HST cycle, or keep Westside but change acessory lifts to the repetition method (lifting non-maximal load to failure. Eg> If you BP is 500 you will do 20-40 reps to failure with 200, very slow tempo BTW.)

Thank you.

Failure is not necessary for hypertrophy, neither is 20-40 reps.
If you aren't growing enough with westside I'd say try a cycle or two of HST.

I shall explain the method. They go to failure because it activates
the most number of fibers at that time, that and the high reps. -A great benefit of the repetition method is an increase not only in all strength but also in endurance. This method is also commonly known as lactic acid tolerance training. It promotes a high degree of growth hormone production, which can and in size and strength.-
