DL; 1-200kg, 225kg, 245kg, 255kg, [email protected], [email protected]. Couldn’t quite get my hips to stay high enough. 2-240kg. Just because.

OHP; 5-60kg, 70kg, 3x4-82.5kg. These were dogshit. It was meant to be a profession of load on 5 by 5 from last week but couldn’t find the groove. Called it early in frustration and semi-sensible resignation. Ah well. Always next session.


Evening;
DL; 1-200kg, 220kg, 240kg, 260kg@8, 280kg@9 for speed - endurance less so. Great rep though.

That was bad ass. I cant wait to try them out this weekend when there are fewer assholes at the gym.

You may want to raise your seat height on the bench/or bench itself until you find the best position. My bench sits a bit low, so I have some mats I chuck on it and sit on those.

Seated back raises; 5x5-220kg. Weight going up next week.

Easier session today, just a lot of accumulated life fatigue this week.

A very frustrating day. Overly fatigued coming into it, under recovered and just generally disappointing. Right now my SI seems to get irritated/feel tight with the wrong physical contact, which is obviously a pain in the ass. Ah well, back to erector work tomorrow.

Rows; 8x3-150kg, EMOM. Next week will make it 4s.

SG deficit hypers; 5x3-100kg, EMOM. Same as above, 4s next week.


EMOM is a protocol I’m really starting to get behind. Nice and rigid thanks to the smartphone, rather than just guesstimating or slacking off until it becomes E2-3MOM and you run out of time to get the work done.

Bit of a mess of a day again. Coming down off the prednisone course for colitis flare up is humbling (DOMS returns).
