    yea thick bones give you that blocky powerlifter look - great for supporting a 600 pound bench but horrible for bodybuilding.. what you want are massive forearms.. have a look at Mike's for inspiration... :)

    I am 5' 10" and 283 pounds. Not sure about bodyfat, but way too high to look like a bodybuilder. It's probably about 22 percent. I'm sporting that powerlifter look - not with a huge belly or anything, but not lean anough to show veins and such. I suppose I'll cut bodyfat down to 12  percent...

    Noob, If you have a history of excessive bodyfat and have endomoprhic traits then yea, you should watch your overall caloric intake. You won't need to go as crazy as a skinny ectomorph, but I would still error on the side of too much protein and limit carbs and fat if you have to cut something...
