Prowler or Sled?

I know there are several DIY enthusiasts here so I was wondering if any one of you folks have built your own prowler or sled for power work? If so, got any tips? I was thinking of knocking up a simple dragging sled out of some ply and timber.

Just made one - with detachable weight post & 'horns' I'll post picks soon ...basic construction is:

450x6thk plate x 600 Lg with last 150mm bent-up at 45degrees, this leading edge has 3 holes for attaching ropes/chains etc.
3 M24 nuts - one central on the upper face of the 450sq base for the weight post; the other 2 are towards the rear corners for the horns.
The weight post is an M24 HD bolt with the head sawn off, the horns jus' plain ol' HD bolts.

cost £0, fun - priceless

Excellent DM! I thought you'd be da man. So you didn't need to do any welding? I'd like to see some pics.

would you believe it I aint had time to train with it yet!
I'm waiting for this dude (bro-in-law) to come back off his hols - he hasn't seen the sled yet...
