Where's a place to buy really cheap protein powder and how should I use it in conjuction with HST? like when should I take it and with what should I take it for pre and post workout supplementation?

Andy,

There is a buy 2 get 1 free sale here:

HSN

Comes out to about $28 for 31 servings (less than $1)

The cheapest from of protein IMO: eggs

I think we are still awaiting the go-ahead from Bryan on availability of the "revamped" Primer & Driver; the stuff vendors currently have is evidently the sub-optimal formulation from his original supplier.

jsraaf,

I didn't hear that, I thought I read Bryan didn't ship any out.

Andy,
When you buy your "cheap" portein look for the following ingredients:

* micellar casein over regular casein
* whey protein isolate over whey protein concentrate

I sure somebody will a couple other ingredients.

Bryan never shipped out the bad batch of Primer/Driver, so the quality is top notch in the ones you find on any store shelves.

I stand corrected; obviously I misunderstood the situation. That's good to know, for when the stuff I just got runs out.

I don't know what protein powder to buy until Primer and Driver are back on the shelves.

When are they expected to be back anyway?

It is a widely used protein supp. In fact, I just bought a 5 lb. jug of it. Tastes a little better than the GNC stuff I've been using.

When it's gone I'll probably give the P & D a try.
