Will this interrupt my SD?

I have started SD:ing. So I haven't trained for 4 days yet.
I´m in a "for fun" powerlifting competition and were just told i need to redo benchpress and deadlift. Will going to the gym today to max out on them interrupt my SD so i need to rest 12 days (from tomorrow) instead of 8?

Yeah it will, because you're "shocking your system" so to speak. deconditioning is basically the body getting lazy because its not doing anything, and not maintaining the tough connective tissue that prevents microtrauma from lighter loads. The max lifts will remind your body not to go losing any of that conditioning.

So to be safe do another 10-12 days after you lift anything heavier than a chair.

So far one judge has said all 3 lifts were ok, but with some hesitation. One judge couldnt decide if my squat was deep enough.
So I dont know what will happen yet :p
The problem is my friends who have filmed havent always filmed from best angles, and sometimes my lifts weren't with best form.

My Deadlift @ 180 kg

(I could have stood up more straight)

My Squat @ 150 kg

(Bad angle, dont know if it's below parallell)

My Benchpress @ 115 kg

(I could have done a better stop)

1lbs = 0.445 kgs i think

For deads, try to get your shoulders moving before your hips. It looked the other way around in the vid. That puts more stress on your lower back and will limit your max lift. Apart from that it looked like a pretty good lift and you made it look pretty easy too.

Can't tell how your squat went as the vid is too dark and you're right about the angle.

Yes I know my technique is not good enough yet in deadlift. Also this is a maxlift so techinique is a bit worse than normal

I will try to train technique now when i start my HST cycle at lower weights, thanks for the advice Lol.

Yup. You're gonna injure your lower back severely lifting like that. Get somebody with sound technical skills to observe you squat and deadlift with light weights and critique your style. Stay away from 1 rep maxes until you get your form down perfect. Please.
