which would scan your food for Protein/Carb/Fat content Plus all the vitamin & mineral values.
Ehhhhh... who's gonna invent something like that? and when?
There is something like that but I think it's only for lab use - called Oxygen Bomb Calorimeter...
And I think it burns food to find out the caloric value... which is not what we want, right?

there is a lot of information on the web for meats, fish, and the food that you make (i.e. the fodo that you dont know the nutritional info about)

that's not the same thing...
cause i eat lots of european sausages & meats that don't
have any nutritional content written on them.
in those sausages there's buckwheat, fat, meat (pork&beef).
so it's really hard to determine what the hell i'm eating. of cource for bulking it's fine..
so i need a more scientific instrument for my kitchen. hehe

The best you can do is just estimate.. if you are off by a dozen calories, then oh well.

I've thought the same thing. Some sort of augmentation that analyzes all food as your body digests it, or as it comes into the stomach and tells you how much you've eaten, the macronutrients, etc etc.
Give it a couple decades. With implantable computers coming and stuff like that, I'm sure it's only a matter of time.PRs:

Your body can already do that. Its just that I'm not very good at talking to enzymes. They tend to ignore me. Must be my personality.
