Soy protein

Soy protein (isolate) supposedly contains no isoflavones. I have only heard this and havent really ever done any research on it.
All veges contain phytoestrogens. For some reason people seem to think that soys are worse than others :)

With soy protein isolate you'll have the least effect from soy isoflavones.

With a whole soy powder featuring "Soy Isoflavones!" on the label, you have a different situation.

Eating a whole soy product, like soymilk, may maximize the effect. With careful laboratory analysis, you might even have a measurable effect. . . but probably not. More likely, you'll merely have a mild depression in incidence of certain ailments over a span of many years.

My protein powder says it has >95% isolated soy proteins. Doesn't mention isoflavones. Does this mean it does not, or may have them in it?
