Varying REP ranges 18,15,12,10,7,5

I am still tweaking the variables of my first cycle which should start Feb 20th (due to travel requirements, however, does force a 3 wk SD).
I have been dialing in my 15, 10, 5 rep max's.
Actually for the past week (trying to get used to this whole body thing) I have been doing full body workouts using my max 15's on MON, max 10's on WED, and max 5's on FRI.
What I am concerned about is the first week of each two week block will be very easy (esp the 15's).
Instead of doing 15,15; 10,10; 5,5, would doing 18,15,12,10,7,5
over the 6 weeks be more productive?

They may be easier, but that way you can handle more volume in the 1st week. Six different rep phases gives you linear progression, and it's just fine, but it's more RM's that you need to test for. You'll have larger increments for 15-10-5 anyways.
