Hi,
Until few weeks ago I was subscribe to muscle and fitness magazine.
Do you have any recommendations about any other magazine instead of muscle and fitness.

Thank You.

In my opinion, all muscle mags these days are just advertisements for worthless supplements and are full of mis-information. I would stick with pubmed and websites like this one if you really want to learn something.

Hey

I don't know where you are at, but I am sure you can purchase this regularly.

With the exception of the regular sex antics article on how to rev up things at home etc, yada yada yada...it is a bloody good mag, informative, good photography and lots of other useful stuff, not too much advertizing but some (well this is what pays to keep them up there).

Mens health magazine, here is the link, worth it by my standards:

Men's Health S.A.

or

Men's health subscription U.S.A.

In the late '80s and early '90s I used to read Ironman. It was a good magazine until it took a turn for the trashy; not sure what it's like these days. But why waste money on glossy rags when you can get so much good information here?

I used to read Men's Health for a while. Then a couple years ago they changed their format and look a bit. It seemed like it was trying to be a less racy, fitness version of FHM or Maxim. The new look didn't grab me either. There are decent articles in there though on health related topics, hearth disease, cancer, and the like. Their workouts are reasonable, and tend to be less moronic overall than what most people come up with on their own.

One thing to keep in mind though is that their workouts are not geared towards building muscle really, even the ones that claim they are. It's more of an overall fitness approach which is not bad, but not in line with what a lot of people are looking for, especially people on these and other boards.

Like another poster said, message boards like this one are the best resource right now in opinion. Much better than magazines. Even the products that get advertised on those boards tend to be better overall than the ones in magazines.
