So based on your workout and the simplicity of it I guess it would be stupid of me to ask how necessary Leg Curls are after doing Squats and Deadlifts?
I'm having a hard time eliminating them from the workout but I'm also doubting how effective they really are.
Any idea's?
I kept the weight the same on all lifts the first week then increased them the second week only because I felt stronger and had the energy to do it.
I did do some light warm up, whole body then a little on each muscle group prior to the negatives. Worked for me...

Here is an Excel file you can download - I use as a log to keep track of days, lifts, weights, body weight etc. Just fill it in as you go. The different sheets are different cycles, all in one file.

I've done two HST cycles in the 15-15-10-10-5-5-negs format but will try the 15-13-11-9-7-5 style next.
My only question is when doing the older format I max out (to Failure) at the end of every two week rep scheme, how often do you go to Failure with the rep scheme changing every week? Does it...

I tend to stay pretty lean year round, I get down to 5% in the summer and up to, at the most, 12% in the winter.
I do get a lot of comments about looking big but in reality I'm only 170 lbs and 5'10" tall. I've never looked at myself as "big"...
I do Squats and Deadlift on every workout. I can't say I noticed any problems so far (several cycles). I will admit it gets incredibly difficult to finish the 15's when doing both but other than that it hasn't been a big deal. My Squat is weeker so I do that first in the lineup.
I liked them at one time, but now that I'm doing ATG squats I dred them. Going to the floor makes them eceptionally brutal. Especially in the 15's, even though I enjoy every excersise in the 5's I still prefer Deadlifts.
