im starting up a new cycle today, i had posted my workout. But reading more, what about having to alternating workouts, is that "confusing muscles" or should i just stick to one group of exercises.

A.
squats
calves
flat bench
rows
abs
dips

B.
leg press
calves
stiff leg dead press
incline bench
chins
abs
dips

my last cycle was 6x a week, 3 hst, 3 iso with cardio a few times. I had good results and seem to respond to high frequnecy.

should i do this set up 6x? A one day, B the next day etc etc? or 4x a week same set up?

Thanks

The whole "confusing muscles" thing is dubious at best, I don't even know if there is any scientific proof behind it, it may be a wives-tale, (or is that lifters-tale?). Anyway the progressive weight and SD take care of the problem of your muscles adapting, so don't worry about it. Change exercises only for variety's sake, if you get bored, and even then don't substitute a worse exercise for the sake of variety (ie. don't replace bench press for flies etc)
