Ok, I was jamming to In-a-god-a-da-vida (the long version) and a thought popped into my head.

At what point does acute stimulus become chronic. Now compensatory hypertrophy models show growth even in the face of inadequate nutrition. Naturally I am refering to using dynamic contractions and not actual synergistic abalation.

Can a human induce a type of compensatory hypertrophy using dynamic contractions only?

Mikeynov?

I'm interested in this discussion too. But on that note . . .

Slayer did a pretty great cover of In-Gadda-Vidda. It's five minutes ;)

cheers,

Could that be related to chronically high level of Ca2+ concentrations? Or at least elevated levels of Ca2+ concentrations in the blood stream around the muscle possibly leading to elevated p38 signalling?

(NWLifter's "Inhibition of . . ." study is really messing with my head yo . . . ;) )

cheers,
