Adding 1/4" to arms & 1/2" to the chest

For the first time I am working with a personal trainer. He got his pro-card as a natural and has trained many people both pro and non-pro over the years.

He said a reasonable goal for me within 3 months is to:

Add 1/4" to my arms
Add 1/2" to my chest
Lose 1" from my waist

I am cautiously optimistic, as I know most will say this not possible since I have been lifting for 10 years now.

I plan on following his diet advice and routine EXACTLY.

What do you guys think? Doable?

PS - I will post a training log on this when I get the time.

If the plan fails, give me a call and I'll have this guy's knees taken out for you (lol).

Given that you have been training for 10 years I'd say it's ... a bit optimistic, but then again who knows?

The only thing I have to say is what you already plan to do; follow his advice (diet as well as routine) to the letter.

Best of luck then and keep us posted!

jw,

You can do it...no problem! I'm sure his workouts and diet are different enough from your current routine to illicit growth.
