Adjusting weight mid-cycle?

I am on my first cycle and I just started my 5's. Obviously I have grown in strength from when I figured out my maxes before I started this cycle and today the 5's were REALLY easy. Should I adjust the weight up in the middle of the cycle to compensate for my increased strength? Or just stay the course and add the weight when I start my second cycle?

The 5's will get tougher... If you plan on doing negatives or some type of post-5's, then you can add the weight at that time.

Stick to the weights you've calculated, but progress the 5's as long as you can. Your increase in strength will benefit you towards the end as you are able to load the bar even more.

The guys are right, do not be fooled, save it for after the first two weeks of fives, if it is still easy (I doubt it), then start pushing the envelope, carry on doing 5's with your 3 or even your 2 RM.

It's an HST trade secret
