Cardio during HST Training?

Hey everyone --

I'm almost finished the 10 rep phase of HST training, and i'm wondering if it would be ok to incorporate some H.I.I.T cardio training on top of that?
My strength/muscle building training of exercise is fine, but i'm starting to realize that my cardio is just godawful haha...

I would really like to get my cardio up to speed so I can build up more endurance.

I was thinking on my off days.... Would it be counterproductive? Would it be better to incorporate it on my days of training?
 
that depends on
how long your weights workout lasts
how many times a wk you want to do HIIT
my workout usually lasts 40mins so i do 20 mins HIIT after so its no problem.
if you are doing more than an hour i would say do it on the of days,but you cant do HIIT every day because it uses similar fibres to weights so could interfere with growth if you over do it.
