Cardio

Ok I know this has been asked b4 but I was thinking of doing some carido. (bulked enough for now) Should I do it before or after my regular lifting? I think Vicious once said that is was really really important that one does not do it before.

So warm up -- lift -- then cardio.

Right?

Well, you really shouldn't do it right after your WO at all. You can probably do 15 minutes of cardio before, but I wouldn't suggest any more than that. It's best to do cardio on off days or several hours away from your WO.

I would do it after, if it were me. Any decent amount of cardio before lifting always screws my lifts up.

OK I found the link Jules said:

cheers,
Jules

If you're drinking something with decent carbs in it, like gatorade, I think you'd be okay. I'd suggest a protein shake, but depending on the type of cardio, that could lead to stomach upset.

Yeah the protein is the key part after the WO, but as Totentanz pointed out, it would most likely lead to you puking everywhere when running.

if you have to do cardio after a weight session,i would take a small power bar or something to avoid the aerial carrot display.i like to do my cv on off days when im carbed up. ;)

Yup. Really, you should take at least a decent rest after your workout, like 15-30 minutes minimum, during which you should have time to digest the protein shake a little bit... I don't think you need a big shake, 20 grams of whey should be plenty. You can always take another after the cardio if you are accustomed to monster 80 gram protein shakes.
