CKD + full body

I think I've put on a bit too much fat these last couple cycles, so I'm leaning towards putting HST down for a bit and using CKD to drop some fat (getting the bf% tested tomorrow).

The article by Lyle suggests a split routine on Monday & Tuesday, and then a full body on Friday. I've kind of grown to enjoy the full body workouts of HST. Any reason why I couldn't do high-rep full body workouts on Mon & Tues also? Seems like it should still deplete muscle glycogen just fine.

IF YOU HAVE PUT ON TO MUCH FAT ITS BECAUSE YOU ARE EATING MORE THAN YOUR USING..STAY ON HST JUST CUT THE CALORIE

I am kind of in the same boat Falco. I have added a little too much fat in the ole gut. Only in my gut though. Everywhere else is fine. After this cycle is over I am going to reign in the calories in a bit and try to get them at or around maintenance for a bit or maybe even an entire cycle. See if that takes the edge off of the ole gut and if it doesn't then I will then maybe run for a bit at a true deficit. Figure I will spend some time at or around maintenance instead of going from a huge bulk to a serious cut.

As it turns out - that is exactly my problem.

I got the bf% test this morning. I only went up 1 - 1.5%, but my arms stayed the same, and my legs actually got leaner! All the fat gain was in my waist.

Still not too bad cause of the 15 lbs I put on, only 4 or 5 is fat. But I'm not terribly lean to begin with (was 11 - 12%, now 13%) so the extra gut is just enough to make me jump from a 32 to a 34 waist - and I'm NOT willing to go out an buy bigger pants.

Still not sure what I'm going to do. but I've got to cut an inch or 2 off my waist to give me some more growing room.
