Deadlifts max-stim style.

This video inspired me to give max-stim a try for deads. I did it the other day 315 for 5 reps with about a 10-20 sec rest time. My form suffered, so I will have to take special notice of that next time. If I can't improve my form then I might just stick to lower weights at 5 reps w/ no mtime rest periods.

What percentage was your deads of 1rm? I did 315 for 20 last week, but my m-time went from 5 to 15 secs by around the 12th rep and stayed at 15 for the rest of the set. I was at 77%. I had to work really hard keeping it at 15 seconds.
It sounded to me like you started with too much. And doing MS for only 5 reps is not doing MS, although with deads I see some guys doing as little as 10 reps. JMO.

Thanks for the tips! I just started doing deads last month or so...

This was my first attempt at MS. Sounds like I should have read about it more before diving in! I think I'll drop the weight a lil and shoot for 10 reps.
