dealing with fatigue

this happened just a while ago..
i'm only doing four workouts today.. and i did it in this order
inclined bicep curls (dumbells)
inclined bench press (smyth)
skullcrushers
lat pulldowns

i felt really exhausted after the first two workouts. i felt like i just finished jogging for 30 minutes. then i tried to finish the last two workouts but it didn't work out quite well. i felt the other muscle groups failing and so i wasn't able to complete my targeted # of reps.

my diet was perfect. anyone have an idea why i wasn't able to complete the last two? is it because of the sequence?

Sometimes your training goes smooth and sometimes not. Don`t stress about couple of reps what you cannot manage to do .

Nowdays i hit reps between 8-12. It doesn`t matter if i hit 8 or 10. Just make sure you always put everything you got into those sets

Quite possibly you have the flu/bug/cold and this was the first sign.

Could be stress abt something having an impact?

Didn't sleep so well last night or recently?

Something you ate didn't agree with you today

If it just happens once, hopefully it's an anomaly.

i don't think it's with the diet.
i only ate rice, beef, pasta, banana, and tuna . + protein shake.

wasn't really stress.. but i'm thinking about the sleep. but i did get about 6 hours sleep (as i always do everyday). although i was feeling sleepy during my physics class.. hmmm.. could've been that.

some things are really strange...

That happened to me on my last workout on Sunday. I was doing dips and just wasn't feeling my usual strength. I still finished out everything, but pushing out that last set of squats was hard.

Sure enough, Monday I felt like total crap and I'm still not feeling too great today. So it could be just an off day for you, or it could be a sign of something else - sickness, lack of sleep, etc. For me, it was an illness.

Hey :)

See what happens on your next workout.

Seems pretty strange though. Inclined bicep curls and inclined bench press shouldn't make you feel like you jogged for 30 minutes. Bicep curls are pretty light in my opinion, and just one compound exercise after that, dude that's pretty whacked.

Maybe you are getting something (an illness I mean).

If your next workout is ok, you just had an off-day. It happens. The worst thing you can do is fret about it, so if you aren't feeling sick or anything, just forget about it as long as you are sure your diet is in check, you aren't overtraining, and that you are getting enough rest.

Regards and good luck! :)

hi did the same thing today. It's good that i finished everything but i have no idea why standing hammer curls still make me sweat like jogging for 30 minutes. (i'm on 5s now).
