Deconditioning question

i have been out of training for around a month...i am going to start hst for the first time and start working out my maxes in the next couple of days...due to my lack of training recently is it necessary to decondition after working out the maxes? this may be a silly question but doesnt hurt to ask someone who knows better!

Yes, you need to decondition.
If you already knew your maxes and didnt need to physically test them, then you would be eligible to start the program. However, seeing that you have to physically test your maxes. Nine days SD is optimal.
