Just wondering how low you guys go when doing dips? I have always gone really low with my chin going down to bar level. However, I was watching some guys dip at the gym and they were only going down to upper arms parallel to the floor sort of level at most.

I probably go down to between parallell or 30 degrees below parallell when dipping.
With Chins I go down to arms straight and up as high as I can, which is to my eyes or my forehead, at least I´m trying

I go as low as possible till it becomes uncomfortable, usually just below parallel. Like sniggel said, with chins i get arms fully extended at bottom. full rom.
 
I do like Richard, allowing the traps and upper end muscles begin to bottom out, but not all the way.
Each of us is a little different, have differing amounts of muscle and joint flexibility. I'd say go deep as it's comfortable and pay attention to everything.
 
i prefer to go as low as i can for the xtra stretch,but make sure you control it on the way down dont just drop down.

For me, it depends...when I want to focus on the tris, I go 3/4 and really focus on letting my tris do the work. When it's a pure chest movement, I go full range. Lately, it's been all full range since I'm not doing any auxilliary exercises for my chest, other than bench press.
