Extend cycle?

Hello. I reached the end of the first week of 5s, and I noticed that my maxes were either incorrect, or I got stronger. Is it a good idea to do another workout the day after next to actually work at the maxes, and hence to failure? I already did this once and I still didn't reach failure on a few of the exercises...

go to faliure on your last day of the 5s,so you know what your maxes are for the next cycle,you will be taking an SD so it wont be a problem.

when i say faliure i mean when you cant do the next rep with the same form as the others,not complete muscular faliure.
 
Since the first 2 weeks of 5s are done, and my maxes are no longer my maxes, should i add 5 - 10 pounds to each workout to compensate?
