Finished my first cycle with DB's

Just finished my 1st cycle of HST with only DB's but then again I have the powerblock which has 90 lbs with increments of 5lb's per dumbbell. Its awesome.

Anyhow I did. (I skipped 15's because I was already working out prior to starting HST)
10's 2 weeks
5's 2 weeks
5rep max 2 weeks

I'm in my SD phase now. The question is:

Is it ok to do my ab excercises (non-weighted)
and is it ok to do my daily push-ups.
30 wide grip, 25 mid, 20 narrow-grip.

Push ups during SD is STRICTLY forbidden.

You want your muscles to receive as little stimulus as possible - deconditioning.

Abs are the same, except most ppl don't try to hypertrophy those too much, but push ups during SD will inhibit the amount of growth you'll get from HST style training, for chest, delts and tris.
 
Its killing me - the thought of not exercising for 2 weeks!! But it has to be done. Like Jester said..NO exercising (as far as lifting is concerned).
