I recently got some fractional plates, and I figured they'd come in handy for my next cycle of HST. I've done one HST cycle before, without the fractionals and generally used 5 or 10 lbs. increments each workout. Now with the fractional plates, I can go in 1 lb. increments. Would it be a good idea to use these smaller increments for smaller body parts exercises (BB curl, skullcrushers, etc.) while sticking with the 5 or 10 lbs. jumps for the bigger compound exercises (BB bench press, squat, DL, etc.)?
I figured using the fractionals would keep a higher load on the muscle groups, while still progressing in weight each workout.
