havent had a chance to read the whole article in depth but did scan it.

it appears to be one of the best, most common sense, approaches to getting folks in the gym and working on a program they can both learn from and grow from.

diet, of course, can play a role (not sure if that was covered) depending on goals but that can be another article altogether.

i really enjoyed the final comments which were directed towards "joe avg." and stressed the import. of dedication, perserv, and patience needed to make progress. everyone thinks/hopes that they simply have to eat alot and lift some to start slapping on serious muscle but of course it certainly doesnt work that way for most.
 
Great article, thanks for sharing. I only wish i had found that a year ago, as it's even easier to follow then the starting strength routine.
