GLUCOPHASE, GLUTAMINE

I used to do glutamine, which actually helped recovery when I was failure training. I haven't done it with HST because of money issues and I just don't see the need for it, without the pain of DOMS all the time.

Then I see one of our guys ordering the new Glucophase, one of many new designer mixes since the ban that will supposedly turn you into superman by next week or something and I wonder:
Outside of creatine, is there actually ANY supplement that would enhance results when doing purely HST routines? (Not whey; I consider whey to be a food)
I mean, that is, outside of the now-illegal pharmaceutical enhancements, OTC supps that could actually work?
 
I use glutimine with hst. I have found that it kinda works like creatine for me. Stronger workouts and a bit of pump.

Could all be in my head though....LOL
 
all bulk powders of glutamine are generally the cheapest..I don't really keep tabs on the stuff though cause many people say its useless
 
I thought I read in Bryan's FAQ that glutamine was good for the digestive tract, and you get plenty from protein powder. But that there's no evidence that it's actually going to help build muscle.

glutamin is holding a little bit water in your muscle cells, like creatin do. (but glutamin effect is not so good like creatin).

in my opinion you can use glutamin after a creatin cycle if you are cycling creatine.....


glutamin is an amino acid. and all amino acids should be used on an empty stomach. and you must use glutamin at 4*5 g a day. because of the absorption...
all extra/single amino acids are not worth the money. because the effect is little and you must really use them on an empty stomach if you want to "feel" these little positive effects.

arginin at bedtime to boost your hgh levels is the same thing. it will boost them, but minimally and only when you are using/taking it the right way. ....
