HST for upperbody but not for legs

hey guys, i have a past injury on my right knee and wont be able to lift heavy i.e. squats but everything else I can do normally. Would not doing HST style training on my legs affect my progression as a whole?

As a whole? No - but of course it will affect your legs, but it's better not to risk injury by doing squats or leg press. If it's possible for you do really light weight and still progressively load it HST style, then go ahead.

yeah, i'll probably just do light weights with the leg press. I'll be going to the gym today to find out my 15 rep maxes so i'll see what i can do for my legs without injury.
