I caught a cold..now what?

I'm getting ready to start my two weeks of 5's and I caught a cold. No fever but feel crappy. Do I stop and start over or skip a few days and contiue where I left off or what?

Also, on the off days for aerobic I hit the punching bag for 15 minutes or so which is pretty demanding on the arms. Should I not do this on HST? Will it carve to deep into the CNS and prevent recovery from the weightlifting?

Here is what I would do: Take a few days off until you feel better, then go ahead and start your 5s.

Punching the bag should be okay, as long as you are eating enough. Otherwise it could potentially cut into your calories and leave less for growth.
 
My general philosophy:

Head Cold: Sneeze and workout (but not at my gym because I don't want your cold either.)

Chest Cold: Lay off until recovered.

Flu: Roll over and die.
