Hey
I started my firsy cycle of HST about three weeks ago. After finishing 1 week of 10's, i got the flu and was unable to train on monday. Should i continue on wednesday and forget the missed workout. Should i take the week off and start week 2 of 10's next week. Do i have to start the cycle over again? Also, i feel that i may have lost some strength from being ill, so im not sure what i should do. Thanks for your help in advance!

I just tossed an entire research paper I wrote for a toxicology lecture. But, basically the majority of most peer reviewed experimental studies have concluded that no measurable immune response was noticed with increased vit C intake. While effects such as diarrhea might be noticed after increased intake, this could be the only noticable effect, while other things could be going on underneath the surface. I will look around and see if I can dig anything up for you, buddy!! It is worth mention that I did find one review showing that temporary increases in zinc intake did show some beneficial immune response. Just how much though is what is still in question, however....
