I want to keep riding my bike to work. That's 40 - 60 miles per week. I'm also trying to develop as a runner. Heck, I might consider participating in a triatholon some day. So, will running/cycling during a 3 week SD hurt the SD effect? Will it only impede lower body hypertrophy?</div>
I wouldn't worry about it. Maybe it would make your early low load leg work less productive for hypertrophy, but the bike riding seems more important to your goals and lifestyle.
