Yay!, I finally got upgraded from 'Newcomer' status! It didn't feel right because I've been reading this forum since 2003, but I suppose it's my own fault for merely 'lurking' for so long with only the occasional post. Well, I've certainly served my apprenticeship now and feel very knowledgable about all things HST. Gee I've read the FAQs and other searchable posts by the 'experts' so many times!
With me early on, like many 'pre-programmed' trainers, the hardest thing for me to get my head around was the fact that total reps at a given weight per workout is far more important than how many reps you do in any given set.
I look forward to being a more active member from now on and also wish to help the genuine 'newcomers' whenever I can.
Cheers,
berserk.
