I'm soar, should I take a day off?

I am a decently sore from my last workout...

Is it ok to lift today or should I take an extra day off and take it easier on my next workout?
 
You don't need to take a day off. It is okay to workout when sore. The only thing I would be worried about is if your strength is significantly compromised... but as long as you aren't causing a lot of CNS fatiigue (working to failure, etc) then you shouldn't worry about it.

Actually, when I am sore, working out seems to make my muscles feel quite a bit better.
 
thanks for the quick response...im not use to lifting a body part more than once a week! ill make sure to keep it a rep or two under failure ;)
