Interesting Bodyfat% calculator

According to that, I am about 15%, so it's a pretty good estimate. I already use that formula in my bf% calculations.

Says I'm 18%.

This calculator gives two results. My numbers were 14 and 16.7%, respectively.

This calculator also gives two results. The first is a Navy estimate the second is a YMCA method. My numbers were 17.83 and 16.69%, respectively.

And finally this one says I'm 18.6%.

My Bodyfat Track II digital calipers, which use a 3-site method, read 6.2% this morning.

This author on about.com is of the opinion that calipers are more accurate than online calculators. However, this author believes that calipers are "just about useless if not in the hands of an expert."

In light of all this, I have given up on finding a fixed, absolute number. Beyond the average daily variability, I look to see if my number goes up or goes down. Down = good. Up = bad.

If you are really into keeping track of your numbers then pick a few tools and stick with them, measuring at the same time every day, day-in-day-out for at least a month (30 samples). Only then will you know if that new diet is paying off or if your new arms routine is really adding mass.

Echo what QP said... wrong or right, they are all estimates. Stick to one method during a period of measurement. If it goes down, you're doing good!
