Is Creatine Banned?

I can't imagine why, unless the sponsors, judges or whatever have been living on the moon or somewhere. Most researched, safest supp out there. And it's not something off the food chain.

Its banned in france.

I think some of the sports groups frown upon it in junior athletes, especially coaches pushing it on kids, but they cannot really check for it.

This is stupid...wtf ban creatine?Should red-meat be banned as well because it has creatine?Umm...i also heard that tribulus is banned, and that`s a worthless piece of junk that does mostly nothing. Is it cool to ban things?

That shows you what the French know. Lol

Ultimately using the IOC guide of performance enhancement being the guide to making something illegal to use for a sports person, creatine would fall under this heading.

THats the route the French went, and some work on animals and brain health from memory.

I agree with all of you that its stupid. Thanks for the proof to show my gf . Shes like most of the uneducated people that think its like steroids or something... javascript:emoticon('

Hate to tell ya, Franko, but there are plenty of "educated" people out there (that would linclude docs) who think creatine, and even whey protein, fall into the steroids category. Clueless!

Sadly, some docs are right-out ignorant, and not only about supplements, which basically wouldn`t bother me all that much, but even about their particular area of expertise, which does bother me, as a crap diagnostic or a misplaced treatment is a very bad thing, generally.
