Is there anything negative that could come out of repeating the exact same workout?

twice? I need to extend my first week of 5's. If i only lifted m,w,f or 3 days a week instead of every other day i'd be fine... but i lift every other day sooooooooo is it ok to do the same workout 2 times?
 
Well there is a chance that your body will swell up and eventually explode but aside from that. If you read the FAQ it states that you can still continue growth for a few weeks before gains start to stall. Although its never optimal, it'll still work aslong as the weights are progressing over time.
 
It is ok to repeat weights during the 5s. When you are working with a heavier load, it will take longer for RBE to become a problem.
