I just bought a used touring cycle from my nieghbor -- great dealon a great bike. I'll try commuting to work a little, otherwise, it will be my source of morning cardio. Looking forward to some fun!!

I just bought a TREK...mountain bike...my first REAL bike since I was a child....i prob should of started off with a cheap bike but I payed 290 for it and its rides awesome!

Works the hell out of my quads too!

I started riding mountain bikes a couple of years ago but didn't get out at all last year because of the wrist injury I had. And I'm not a great rider because I haven't ridden that much. I get worn out quick but it sure is fun!

Wow, I guess you haven't bought a bike since you were a kid! $290 for a bike is cheap, cheap, cheap!

The seat on my road bike is worth more than that!

Glad to hear you are riding. It's great excercise and a really fun way to get around.

Cheers

I rode to work today, 9.6 miles in 38 minutes (15.15 mph average). Felt pretty good. For the rest of the school year I'll ride three days, lift three days, rest one.

Captain...I know what you mean.

The guy who sold me the bike told me his bike was 4,500 dollars...that crazy.

A lot of the bikes were around 1,000 dollars there.

I basically got the beginners model!

As long as the wheels are round it doesn't make much difference unless you really get into it. You can always upgrade later and then you can go really fast!!!
