Max-Stimulation

I just read about Max stimulation ! Good system! But:

It is the same as HST cluster why does it have an other name?

Why do you use such a low volumen and why are clustering the sets? (I think , it would be better to do it the old german way. Just say how many reps have to be done. (my opinion) )

I do not think that a certain m time is needed. M time is more stress full on the cns than pause by feel! If you want more metabolic stimuulation, just do some pump sets or Hiit after the clustering is done!

greetings from germany

Ps:
Anyway max stimulation sounds good!

Probably best to look through the posts on the max-sim website but just quickly...

it's not the same as clustering because with max-sim you rest between every rep - even when you don't need to to be able to complete another rep.

clustering is splitting a certain amount of reps however many mini sets you need to to enable you to achieve that many reps

there is no stress during the m time because you've put the weight down and it's definitely not designed to increase metabolic work, quite the opposite.

Cheers

I know (maybe my english is to bad)

My point was :
clustering is better because :
1. more volumen = more microtrauma
2. more restet reps = more strenght increase
3. instat of m time-> pump sets with light weight / complexes /etc. -> less cns stressing and much more efficent!

sorry Mr Moor but I not in the mood to become an member of any other forum ( I am suscribed in just to many....) .

My statement is simple. Why reinventing the wheel ? Max stimulation is German HST clustering with lower Volumen (which is good) and controlled rest times (also good ) . In Germany most Hst people are already clustering for many years. The Volumen is often 30 - 50 reps per exercise ( that means 1h- 2 h training!) ! Some big guys do even more...

But you shouldn`t forget about metabolic stress (high rep sets) this will help your tendons and energy sytem a lot !

If you want to know more about the hst clustering we are doing. Let me know....

Dan's website is worth joining, ther is enough reasearch in there too to entertain any serious body buider!

Try it! And...thhis is not advertising it is simple truth

Maybe you're just wasting your time elsewhere? Have you considered that!

And I'm sure Dan doesn't need to waste his time explaining something ad infinitum that has already been explained on his site???

M@x,

Dan works just fine, no need for the Mr. stuff

You do not have to join the forum to read it or join anything to download the booklet, I make both available for free and unencumbered by registration restraints. Since it is available for viewing without registering you can view all your concerns as they have already been addressed there.

Thanks for the offer but I have already translated most of the stuff from myogenic.de and feel I have a pretty firm grasp on what the German Clustering entails. I am no newb to HST and it's variants and even though I recently changed my log on, here at HST, to my full name I have been hanging around here for a bit

and have made my stance clear, as dkm1987, as to my thoughts on clustering.

I know your other nick ....

On myogenetic you only find 912hst (special clustering for rappid fat los ) ...
the other clustering is just the same as Hst but you cluster the reps and do a lot more volumen!

I do not realy care as long the training system is high freqency , sufficent volumen and heavy weigths ! They all work better than average programms....
I do not think I will try the principle of m-time , but this is because I do not want any additional weigth gain and I am just trying to maximise my relativ strengt ....

I just wanted to say that I like your system , but I think metabolic stress and a lottle bit more volumen would be a good idea....

Also singles with short rest , m-time , edv -sets or rest pause may increase the danger of injury. But I think you will realise this in a about an year. I do not how strong you guys are but I rember a lot of strong guys how just went overbord with this fatique managment stuff and got injured....

greetings from germany
