Maxes on Mondays instead of Fridays?

Is there any reason why HST advocates peaking on Fridays instead of Mondays (which would require starting the cycle on a Wednesday as appose to a Monday)? Resting over the weekend should allow you to lift heavier weights, especially on a no-carb diet with Sunday carb loads.
 
If you think you'll have better results, go ahead and do Wed-Fri-Mon for your cycle, but the primary purpose of hypertrophy training is getting bigger. Strength is secondary.

HST doesn't advocate that. It's just part of how most of the routines are made up. You can shift your workout days or anything like that. I rarely workout Mon-Wed-Fri. Rearrange the days however you see fit and however works with your schedule.
