What is the best method to measure body fat? I use an electronic scale but found the results too high (or maybe I’m just that fat

).
Are these things reliable?

What about calipers, i hear often that they are the best, but i think is difficult to be precise, how can i use them properly?

An autopsy is probably the best, but that's out of the question if you want to lift the next day.

On a serious note, I would rank these in order...

99) Electronic scale

5) Tossing some dice
4) Equations based solely on weight, height, and waist measurements
3) If lean, the mirror (Men, 12% generally equals abs peaking, 10% is a 4 pack, and 8% is a 6 pack)
2) Daily caliper measurements
1) Hydrostatic weighing

I may have forgotten one of the more pricey technical methods, but that's right off the top of my head.

ok, i'll have to get back to the calipers. I used them some time ago, but found them touchy. It was difficult to even get the same measure two times in a row.

Any advise on brands and tutorials?

You could get the cheap Accumeasure version. Your results will vary depending on where you squeeze to. I take tight, medium, and loose measurements all in one. I do them daily and right after I weigh myself in the morning. I average the readings weekly.
