Methods for maintaining low BF%?

what are everyones experiences in terms of the best methods for maintaining low BF% whilst adding muscle mass when using HST, i have 3 days spare per week within which im planning to use to keep my BF low. one day will be continuous steady state on my road bike but i want ideas for the other 2 days. ive read about HIIT as an option. what are everyones experiences in terms of keeping low BF% without burning off to much muscle protein.

ideas, experiences or links to other threads are much appreciated!!
 
Don't eat as much when bulking. Staying relatively lean while trying to gain mass is a recipe for disappointment, I must warn. Very few guys can do it. If you just manage your calorie intake well, you should be able to keep bulking for quite a while before you hit 15% bodyfat, depending on where you are starting from.
