I'm now on my 2nd week of hst using 5s.
I observed that my chest burns more (DOMS effect) during the late parts of 10's rather than 5s, which has a heavier weight compared to 10s.

Is this a normal effect of hst, or should I increase my volume? I followed the recommendation of doing 1x15s,
2x10s, and 3x5s. I usually do Incline bp of 3x5 and db bench press of 2x5 then on the next work out, DB incline then BB bench press.

It is normal and your volume is alright!

Only one question though?

Why two types of bench presses the same day? Why not one then alternate the other?

That way you could include one more set and certainly reap the benefits!
 
Good thing that DOMS doesn't mean anything.

You are still growing, whether you are sore or not doesn't matter.
