Hello, I am 6'2" and I used to weigh 270lbs I am 198 pounds now. I am trying to bulk up. My only problem is that I have the weider 4100 system and it does not have 5 lb. increments. Long story short what can I do that is similar to the HST? I am also using 100% whey protien during my workout's. Any suggestions?

I don't know what the Weider 4100 system is, so I can't answer your question. If it pertains to increments, then do larger increments.

Example for 6 WO's of a given RM and exercise:

60 60 70 70 80 80

HST is adaptable to almost any type of resistance training.

You simply have to play around with the increments, what Colby showed you is pretty decent fro a start, but you may want to use other variations.

The main point is to increment as you go up in time and down in rep schemes, getting you to a maximum weight for a particular rep range.

The machine you have is pretty decent to start off with so get on with it.

Give us something to see from your program and exercises you have chosen, and we will help you further.
