Newbie question

I will be starting my 2 weeks of negs on saturday. Im not sure how many sets of negs you do. Also. I would like to redo my max reps before my next cycle, should I do them the week after the negs or after sd. If after sd, do I take more time off before starting the next hst cycle? Thanks, and im sorry if these are stupid questions or repetative.

Good questions Mike. If you really need to test your maxes again, do so before you SD. Most of us, though, get a pretty good feel where our maxes are going to be by looking back at our logs. I usually add a couple of percentage points to where I maxed out previously. That will get me close enough and I can make adjustments mid cycle if need be.

As for the negs, I don't do them so I think it best if someone else give you some direction. If I had to guess, I would think that you would do the same number of neg sets as you do for 5's.
