I found this 4-day total body split at t-nation.

It isn't based on progressive loads, but does follow the total body/frequency principles of HST. Has anyone tried anything like this? Are their any major weaknesses to the routine?

(P.S. - I hope it is alright to link workouts from other sites. If not, sorry mods.)
 
Preferably it should have been put in General Training but since the changeover I can't move the posts so I guess here it stays.
 
It is a good approach and I am sure we can use some of the principles in it, but as for me I'll stick to the progression and general HST approach.

However I will use the supersetting idea there, mixing two exercises of different impacts (one causing more fatigue than the other), sounds like a good idea.

In the end, it will end up making HST even better! Thanks.
