OK to detox...

worked out 12 straight weeks and finally fatigued. This time I thought about detoxing from protein powders and all other supplements. Go all natural with fresh organic veggie juices and fruits straight from the juicer.

So do we need to detox occasionally???

This isn't a question you are going to get a legitimate answer to. I would say no, but other people are going to argue yes.
 
yeah, its no use getting anxious about it.

Detoxing is good for you, but it is not a partof HST at all.

Thanks but what I meant is all the supps and protein make you acidic which leads to health problems. I just wanted to know if I would lose gains or not on a lower protein diet. I realize the health benefits are innumerable...

Take some glutamine, eat more veggies, or add a little sodium or potassium bicarbonate to your meal to lower the acidity. It looks like eating raisins should be good to help lowering the levels too. That way you can keep your protein uptake up.
