Olympic Lift

Hi
I'd like to complement my routine by integrating olympic lifts like clean presses, push presses, high pulls etc. I've searched the net for technical instructions but haven't found anything valide. Can someone give me a good explanation how to execute them in adequate manner or post a helpful link?
Thx.

Search youtube for power clean, full clean, clean and jerk, snatch, olympic lift. The videos posted on youtube may not be technically accurate (I don't know, I'm not an expert) but at least they'll give you a good idea of what to look for in the future.

Scratch that.

Find a coach who knows the lifts, learn the proper technique. Furthermore, since the lifts are highly technical, they require extensive practice before moving on to the heavier weights.

So let me get this straight... when the bar reaches the knees, the knees stop moving and the hips take over completely such that the kness are still bent and as soon as the bar brushes the thigh thats when the second pull begins?

The start of the second pull is when knees are only slightly bent, the bar is just above the knees, shoulders are over the bar. The hips and glutes initiate the second pull. The 2nd knee bend happens automatically, never try to do it, you'll never do the lift right. Once you're upright you'll automatically rebend the knees slightly.

I've been focusing on the second pull and a strength coach really helped me this week. Deadlift the weight, then, with your shoulders back and lats tight, bend down at the waist, do not bend your knees though, they're slightly bent at the start, your shins should be perpendicular to the floor. The bar should be just above the knees. Hold that position, it's real awkward at first, get used to it though. I deadlift 460 (209k)x6 and doing hang snatches with 110 pounds (55k) made me sore.
