Has anyone heard of Orlando Jordan, a pro wrestler. I don't follow wrestling, but I just found out today that he is a pro-wrestler. I have worked out with him before & spotted him on bench when he needs it. He is a quiet guy & never mentioned what he does. A web page shows his trainer is Rocky Thompson, the ROCKS father. I have seen Rocky in the gym many times, & seen Orlando hang with him. Also, there are pics on the wall at the gym with the Rock & the gym owners. From what I've heard his father lives here in the Davie, Fl area & the Rock also has a house near by too. Anyway, just thought I mention this little tid-bit as I thought it was cool of him to just be a normal person like the rest of us.

I lived in Weston florida, a stones throw away from Davie. I met Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) at a local gym. He had(has?) a house in Davie he said, and that night, he was hosting a big party for former Canes players and other NFL guys in the area. Nice guy, Dwayne. Never met Orlando Jordan. I've met a couple of other wrestlers before, and they were all real nice.
 
I don't think I'll meet anyone famous in my gym (mygarage).

Growing up, my best friend's older brother worked out with Tony Manderich (sp?), while he played for the MSU Spartans. I guess he's more infamous than famous, though.

Oh, I just remembered, another friend's uncle was a pretty well known body builder in the 70's, early 80's. Name is Roger Callard. He did a little stunt work and acting too. He had a small part in Red Heat (Arnold), and ... of all things ... played Coan the Librarian in Weird Al's movie, UHF. Ha, ha!!!
 
I worked on Rick Steiner's house (Junkyard Dog) when his brother, Scott came up (Pappa Pump) on his harley. Now, Rick is the big family man, with kids and a beautiful wife who works out...super nice guy. Scott comes up with no shirt on, looking like a tank while some of us were standing there talking, and I said "Man, you're FREAKY!" When he looked at me like he wanted to eat my head, I said "Just like the REST of us wanna be!" Turns out he's just like he is on tv. A legend in his own mind.
I also rebuilt the front porch for Brian Adams (Atom Ant, Wrath). They live just down the road from me here in Acworth, Ga.

I just saw that pic of some guy being forced to kiss McMahon's bare ass on the wrestling matt, lmao, they're getting pretty silly. I don't understand that kind of entertainment, and probably never will. Oh well, to each his own. That Orlando is one thick dude.
