Protein advice

Sorry I posted this in the diet section before, not realising there was a supplement section
Any help would be great

Hey.

I'm just about out of protein, since I'm a semi-poor student I want to get the best deal possible whilst still getting effective protein. I found a cheap, fairly reputable deal on ebay, but I'm not sure if the most effective amino acids and stuff are in it. Could you guys check it out for me please? heres the link: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/100-Pur....iewItem
I'm just curious because it seems so overly cheap compared to the normal brand i buy from GNC(Max's) which is also on ebay for a vast vast lot more. Obviously I dont care if it's not the best in the world, just so long as it is sufficient to help me gain some muscle. Any other suggestions as to where I can purchase cheap and good protein would be great, if so, Just keep in mind I'm from Australia.
Thanks guys.

Dude don't buy anything you'd take internally over ebay...buy from a reputable store a least then if you get sick you can sue them...

As for protein "quality", that's debatable its better to go for purity, as in 90% protein powder as opposed to some of the crap ones that are 40-60% protein.

I found a good website, http://www.myopure.com.au (Australian website, I'm aussie too

), tbh I haven't used yet but they sell new zealand whey, which I heard from experts on this board is good quality stuff, and because its bulk and nameless brand its pretty cheap. You can also get creapure (a pure form of creatine without the other added crap) from a reputable german chemical manufacturer through their site, if you spend over $100 on their site its free delivery. GNC are rip off merchants they will charge you $100 for a 3kg tub of 60% protein.

Oh btw get the "MF Whey Protein Isolate", its the best one they have, 92% pure protein with no additives. Add some chocoa or sugar to make it taste nicer.

If you decide to order through them let me know how you go, once I finish my powder I will order through them, unless I hear something bad about them.

Oh ok, thanks. If you checked my link you would have noticed that it was an Ad for NZ whey, and they had a 99% positve feedback rating on ebay, and fairly cheap. But, I guess im being a bit of a hypocrit as I havent bothered to look at your link yet. I'll do that now.

i'm from aus as well and have been checking out this site to latley.... most of their products seem well priced even their biotest stuff is about $10 cheaper compared to other AUS companys ive dealt with....i think i will deal with them when i run out. Just wondering is it AUS currency or New Zealand currency....please be New Zealand that means an even better deal

Haha no its Aus currency. You're talking about the myopure website? When you click on the side tab for "MF Whey Protein Isolate", and scroll down to "Nutritional Information", it says its manufactured in New Zealand. You can probably import it directly from the company that makes it cheaper than through a middle-man importer like myopure, but I don't know the name of the company. Maybe if you buy the first batch and find out the name, we can start importing the stuff ourselves

Btw I must reiterate I haven't dealt with myopure yet and can't vouch for their service, but from everything I can see they seem reputable. Only one way to find out I spose...

o well if its AUS, still its cheap. I won't deal with these guys for a while because I just restocked up on all my supps about 7 days ago before finding this site.... damn

Doubt it, unless you act as a company and purchase a significnat quantity of product.
