Question about 5 reps cycle

I am about to start my heavy 5 rep cycle next week...

How do I go about this (I have check the HST for Dummies thread and nothing was mentioned)?

Do I work up to my max in two weeks like the previous cycle or do I work with my max every M-W-F?

A little love would be appreciated here...

Maxes are attained at the end of each two week microcycle, regardless of the rep scheme you are on!

You will only divert from this if you do a further two weeks of 5's instead of negatives were you would either work with your maxes every day or find new maxes each day, or only try to change the maxes after one week at least.

the above really depends on how much you can handle above your maxes, if you got stronger then you would probably be able to find some reasonable new maxes!
